Alberta Travel Living started from a simple observation.
Many people see Alberta as a destination for mountains and national parks. Fewer discover the everyday life of the province, its festivals, multicultural communities, neighbourhoods, and local stories.
After arriving in Edmonton and experiencing the city’s cultural energy, it became clear that there was a different story to share.
At the same time, through working with newcomers and ethnocultural communities, we often heard the same comment. There is nothing to do in Alberta beyond Banff and Jasper.
For us, the experience was the opposite.
There was always more to explore, from Edmonton’s year-round festivals to regional towns, heritage routes, and community-driven experiences across the province.
Alberta Travel Living was created to bridge that gap.
Today, it serves as a platform to help visitors discover Alberta through culture, people, and local connections, starting from Edmonton and expanding across the province.
