These terms govern your use of albertatravelliving.ca and of the services offered by Alberta Travel Living Inc. (“Alberta Travel Living”, “we”), based in Edmonton, Alberta. By using this website or booking a service, you accept these terms.
1. Our services
Alberta Travel Living offers guided tours, tailor-made trips, conference and business travel programs, exploratory trips and travel abroad. The descriptions, schedules and prices on this website are provided for information and may change, in particular for festivals and events organized by third parties.
2. Bookings and payment
- Prices are in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes, including the 5% GST, are added where required.
- Online payments are processed by a secure payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
- A booking is confirmed once payment is received and a confirmation email has been sent to you.
- Tailor-made programs are confirmed by a written proposal, accepted by you before any payment.
3. Changes and cancellations
The change and cancellation conditions specific to each tour or program are provided to you before payment and form part of your booking. To request a change or a cancellation, write to us at info@albertatravelliving.ca as soon as possible.
4. Your responsibilities as a traveller
- Provide accurate information when booking (names, dates, number of travellers, special needs).
- Hold valid travel documents (passport, visa or eTA) when required. These remain your responsibility.
- We strongly recommend travel and medical insurance suited to your trip.
- Follow the instructions of guides and partners, as well as local laws and safety rules.
5. Partners and third-party services
Some services (transportation, accommodation, tickets, activities, flights) are provided by independent partners. Their own conditions apply, and they are responsible for the services they deliver. We select them carefully and support you if a problem arises.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Alberta Travel Living is not liable for indirect damages, or for events beyond our control, such as weather, strikes, changes to a festival or decisions by authorities. When such a situation occurs, we work with you to find the best possible solution.
7. Website content
All content on this website (texts, photos, logo, design) belongs to Alberta Travel Living or its partners and is protected by copyright. Any reproduction, even partial, requires our written permission. Links to external websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page on the date of your booking.
